Terms of Service

The terms for using Hollyway Global's marketplace, solar catalogue, service requests and escrow support.

1. About these terms

These terms describe your use of Hollyway Global and the services you request through it. Read them together with the Privacy Notice and the specific written terms, quotation or agreement for your transaction.

Hollyway operates a marketplace and coordinates related services. Third-party listings are not automatically goods owned, manufactured or stocked by Hollyway. The seller, service provider, included equipment and Hollyway's role must be clear in the relevant transaction record. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable Nigerian law continue to apply.

2. Your account and identity

You must have the legal capacity and authority to enter the agreements you make. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials private and use only an account you are authorised to operate. Tell Hollyway promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Some actions require completed identity verification or business review. Work saved before the required checks may remain a draft and is not a published listing or confirmed booking. Verification does not guarantee that another participant or their goods will meet your expectations.

3. Listings, ownership and public content

List only items you own or have authority to sell. Describe the price, quantity, condition, defects, repair history, location and included items honestly. Photos, videos and specifications must represent what is being offered. Do not misuse another person's images, brand, intellectual property or personal information.

A saved draft is private and is not an offer published to buyers. Submission permits Hollyway to review the content and, where approved, display it for the relevant marketplace purpose. Optional promotion is subject to the placement, price and conditions shown when it is purchased; it does not guarantee a sale.

  • Do not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit or otherwise prohibited goods.
  • Do not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent evidence, manipulate activity or use the platform to harass or deceive.
  • You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of the material you submit. Report inaccurate or suspicious content to Hollyway.

4. Orders, wanted requests and service bookings

An order request, enquiry or service brief is not an automatic confirmation of availability, final price, delivery or a reserved date. Review the confirmation, quotation and scope before committing to payment. Sellers and providers must disclose material changes before proceeding.

Wanted requests communicate a buyer's requirements and budget. Any request or renewal fee is shown before payment and does not guarantee a suitable offer. Professional services, events, relocation and delivery work are governed by the scope and arrangements confirmed for that request.

5. Solar systems and assessments

Catalogue prices and system combinations are starting information, not a substitute for a load and site assessment. Actual performance depends on appliances, starting loads, battery use, sunlight, installation and operating conditions.

Confirm the final equipment, installation scope, price, warranty and any exclusions in writing before paying. Requesting an assessment or selecting a system does not by itself place an installation order or guarantee a stated runtime.

6. Prices, fees and payment records

Review the agreed value, Hollyway fee, any promotion charge and separate delivery or other costs before payment. The transaction record must identify who pays each charge. Do not assume a delivery fee or additional service is included unless stated.

Use the official payment instructions shown for the confirmed transaction. Upload a genuine transfer record where requested. A screenshot, upload or WhatsApp message is evidence submitted for review, not confirmation that money has been received. Hollyway must confirm the transfer against its records. Keep the transaction reference and payment record.

7. Escrow agreements, release and refunds

Escrow can relate to an item sale, service or another supported agreement. Record the parties, funding responsibility, agreed value, fee allocation, acceptance conditions and release conditions before funding. An invited funding party must follow the account and acceptance requirements for the transaction.

For manual funding, transfer only as instructed, upload the payment record and await confirmation. Do not ship, start work or treat the agreement as funded solely because another participant says they paid.

Release, refund, cancellation and dispute requests must be made through the transaction record and supported by relevant evidence. A request does not immediately move money. Hollyway reviews it against the recorded terms, the transaction state, relevant instructions and applicable law. An unresolved dispute or required verification may delay settlement.

Do not treat the service as a savings, interest-bearing or investment product. Nothing on this website should be read as a claim of deposit insurance or a particular regulatory licence. The written transaction terms should make the payment and settlement arrangement clear.

8. Delivery, inspection and work acceptance

Give accurate addresses, reachable contact numbers, handling needs and access restrictions. Carrier availability, dispatch timing, collection, storage and any transit protection must be confirmed for the shipment. Optional cover applies only on the terms actually agreed.

Inspect goods or completed work against the agreed description, scope and inspection arrangements. Report an issue through the transaction record promptly, include evidence and do not confirm satisfaction or release if a material issue is unresolved. Inspection periods are those recorded for the transaction; these terms do not invent a universal deadline.

9. Cancellations, complaints and consumer rights

If you need to cancel or change a request, contact Hollyway using its reference as soon as possible. Refund eligibility and any properly disclosed costs depend on the service, work already carried out, third-party commitments, the agreed terms and applicable law. A blanket statement that every payment is non-refundable does not apply through these terms.

Email contact@hollywayglobal.com or use Support & feedback in your account. Explain the issue, the reference and the remedy sought, and attach relevant evidence. Do not send passwords, OTPs or unrelated identity documents. These terms do not prevent you from seeking assistance from the FCCPC, the NDPC or another competent authority.

10. Moderation, availability and responsibility

Hollyway may restrict content or access where there is suspected fraud, unlawful activity, a breach of these terms or a security issue. Restrictions do not remove an obligation to deal with existing transactions, lawful refunds or a valid complaint. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

You are responsible for your representations and the actions you authorise. Hollyway is responsible for the obligations it undertakes and remains subject to applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability or legal remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Availability and third-party performance cannot be guaranteed at all times.

11. Governing law and changes

Applicable Nigerian law governs these terms, without removing mandatory rights that apply to a particular user or transaction. A dispute-resolution route recorded for a transaction must not unlawfully restrict access to a regulator or competent court.

The revision date identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated where required. An existing transaction remains subject to its accepted terms unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise. Contact contact@hollywayglobal.com if you need an explanation before proceeding.
